Low Voltage Electrical Systems

Low voltage electrical systems are the electrical systems which operates at 11kV or below voltage levels. To monitor and control LV systems, it is necessary to learn about PCC, MCC and PMCC panels.
These panels act as a central unit to monitor and regulate the voltage and for distribution of the Power. These LV panels are offered with various designs and distributes electrical power from the main power source to various equipment and sub panels.
In addition, it consists of several motors starting methods including DOL, Star-Delta starters.
This course is designed for engineers, electricians, and technicians who want to enhance their knowledge of LV power distribution, safety standards, and system design.
By the end of this course, you will gain the knowledge in LV systems components, LV systems designing, Technical BOQ Preparation, Testing.

Many industrial processes require a large number of motors, so Motor Control Centre (MCC) panels are used to regulate them all. With the Motor control Centre, the control components can be plugged in or unplugged, eliminating the need for wiring. A motor control centre would consist of a bus bar and other control equipment to control the motor’s operation and integrate the components into a panel. Motor control Centre supports several motors starting methods, including DOL and star-delta starters. A motor control centre includes feeders for motors and blowers. Feeders are designed based on motor power ratings. The majority of Motor control Centres will have auto/manual options. It is possible to operate motors manually with manual provision.
